| Please research the breeder before purchasing a puppy Purchasing a puppy over the internet can be scary. There are a few tips that can make your decision a little easier. If it's possible go visit the breeder, ask to see the parents, at times the male could be unavailable, which is ok, maybe ask why the male is unavailable, but there really is no reason why the female should be unavailable. Ask for at least 10 fairly recent references,from previous puppy buyers, ask for phone numbers and purchase dates. Also ask the name and location of the vet with phone number, and contact the vet personally. Ask as many questions as you can, if you are not satisfied with the answers, you may want to look elsewhere. There are several very good dachshund breeders out there, so take your time in making your decision. The right puppy is out there waiting for you, so no worries. If Smith's Barkery doesn't have the dachshund puppy you are looking for, I do know a few good dachshund breeders that may be able to help you to find the perfect miniature dachshund puppy. | We require a $100.00 deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, NON TRANSFERABLE, unless your puppy becomes unavailable while still in breeder's care. Our dachshund puppies while be marked "sold" as soon as deposit is received. We are no longer able to hold a dachshund puppy without a deposit. Sorry, no exceptions. We accept Paypal, personal checks, money orders and cash. All puppies MUST be paid for in full before leaving breeder's facility. All dachshund puppies prices are for LIMITED AKC registration, which means, you can still register your dachshund puppy with AKC, but you cannot breed nor show your puppy. Full AKC registration is available at an additional $150.00, with approved puppies only and PRIOR agreements MUST be made. |
| We offer safe shipping with Continental Airlines. An additional $400.00 is to be added to the cost of the dachshund puppy. All our Miniature Dachshund puppies, must be at least 9 weeks of age to ship. All puppies and shipping costs are to be paid for in full prior to leaving our home. |
