Purchasing a puppy over the internet can be scary. There are a few tips that can make your
decision a little easier. If it's possible go visit the breeder, ask to see the parents, and maybe
visit the facility. Ask for at least 10 fairly recent references,from previous puppy buyers, ask
for phone numbers and purchase dates. Also ask the name and location of the vet with phone
number, and contact the vet personally. Ask as many questions as you can, if you are not
satisfied with the answers, you may want to look elsewhere. There are several very good
dachshund breeders out there, so take your time in making your decision. The right puppy is out
there waiting for you, so no worries. If Smith's Barkery doesn't have the dachshund puppy you
are looking for, I do know a few good dachshund breeders that may be able to help you to find

We require a $100.00 deposit to hold the puppy of your choice. All deposits are
NON REFUNDABLE, NON TRANSFERABLE, unless your puppy becomes unavailable while
still in breeder's care. Our dachshund puppies while be marked "sold" as soon as deposit is
received. We are no longer able to hold a dachshundpuppy without a deposit. Sorry, no
exceptions.
We accept Paypal, personal checks, money orders and cash.
All puppies MUST be paid for in full before leaving breeder's facility.
All dachshund puppies prices are for LIMITED AKC registration, which means, you can still
register your dachshund puppy with AKC, but you cannot breed nor show your puppy. Full
AKC registration is available at an additional $150.00, with approved puppies only and
PRIOR agreements MUST be made.

We offer safe shipping with Continental Airlines. An
additional $400.00 is to be added to the cost of the
dachshund puppy. All our Miniature Dachshund puppies, must
be at least 9 weeks of age to ship.
All puppies and shipping costs are to be paid for in full
prior to leaving our home.

We are a small Miniature Dachshund breeder located in Bakersfield, California. All our Miniature Dachshund
Puppies are AKC registered and come with a written health guarantee, vet checked, vet health certificate,
microchip,(upon request) age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings and puppy package.
Our Miniature Dachshund Puppies are all raised indoors, underfoot and very spoiled and well socialized. As our
dachshund puppies grow, we expose them to everyday noises, such as vacuum cleaners, doorbells, kids playing,
so they are all set up for their new homes.
Our miniature dachshund puppies come in a variety of colors and patterns, such as:
chocolate & tan, chocolate & tan with green eyes, chocolate & tan dapple, black & tan, black & tan dapple
smooth dachshund, chocolate based red dachshund with green eyes, isabella & tan dachshund, also known as
fawn & tan dachshund, blue & tan dachshund, red dachshund , chocolate & tan piebald, black & tan piebald,
isabella ( fawn) piebald dachshund, red piebald smooth miniature dachshund. Our Miniature Dachshunds also
come in the brindle pattern. We especially love our Dapple Dachshunds. Our Countrylov'n Cowpuncher has
produced some amazing dapple dachshunds and we decided to continue his wonderful and popular lines.
