There are no grumpy or aggressive dachshunds here at Smith's Barkery. All of our dachshund Moms are very friendly, well socialized and love
people. Our Moms are not aggressive and don't mind showing off their puppies to strangers, although we prefer not showing off our dachshund
puppies before they are 5 weeks old. This of course is for the safety of our puppies. We will gladly send you updated pictures of our
dachshund puppies as they grow. All our miniature dachshunds are carefully selected to ensure the best possible pet. We do not breed sick or
injured Mom's and our dilute dachshunds have nice thick coats and are only bred back to the appropriate male with thick coats to help prevent
alopecia, or commonly called blue dog syndrome. We breed for conformation, health and personality.
All our Dachshund Moms are AKC registered, micro-chipped and UTD on vaccinations and dewormings.  We only breed our females to AKC
registered male miniature dachshunds with nice conformation and personalities. We NEVER breed dapple to dapple, dapple to piebald or dilute
to dilute.

Meet        the Moms
Ghizmo's Fancy Face, chocolate & tan dapple female. Sweet natured and eager to please, laid back and
quiet. Fancy will always chose someone's lap to chasing a ball or a treat. Fancy is Puncher's daughter.

Ghizmo's Velvet 'n Slick Black Rose, AKA Rosie. Rosie is full of spunk, cuddly and has a big personality in a
small package. Nothing seems to effect Rosie's spunky good natured personality. She is a smooth coat black
& tan and weighs 9lbs. She has several champions in her pedigree.
